Technical Engagement

The IIEE Foundation collaborates closely with various technical committees under the Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Philippine Standards (DTI-BPS) and IEC National Committee of the Philippines (IEC-NCP).

These committees focus on developing and maintaining standards for electrical products and systems. Key areas of involvement include:

• BPS/TC 23/30 : Cooking, Heating, and Household Appliances

• BPS/TC l : Electric Wires and Cables

• BPS/TC 4 : Lamps and Related Equipment

• BPS/TC 69 : Power Transformer

Additionally, the Foundation plays a significant role in the IEC National Committee of the Philippines (IEC-NCP), with representation in several key positions.
